Oxford Cloth & Canvas

This is ridiculous. I really can’t recommend anyone do this, ever. The pattern is (obviously) inherently casual, and 6-button DBs are inherently formal, so this jacket is an abomination, a hybrid jacket that’s never really quite right for any occasion. Also, the sleeves are to long.

And yet, it’s kind of fantastic.

(Also, note that everything else is solid blue or white, which grounds it nicely. So he did do a good job of building this outfit around the jacket. Unfortunately, there’s very little else one can do without making the whole thing overbusy, so every time he wears this jacket, it’s going to be pretty much the same look.)
